Our Community Projects
PDT’s Christmas Child Project Touches Lives!
The Christmas Child Project, initiated by Pediatric Developmental Therapy (PDT), has been a beacon of hope and joy for children in need for over two decades. This heartwarming initiative aims to bring the spirit of Christmas to those who may otherwise go without during the holiday season.
The project involves all PDT employees working together for weeks, before Christmas, purchasing and wrapping gifts for children, ensuring that they experience the joy and warmth that Christmas brings. Plus, this time provides PDT employees the “holiday specialness” of coming together for holiday fun!
For more than 20 years, the Christmas Child Project has touched the lives of countless families. The initiative not only provides tangible gifts but also fosters a sense of community and compassion. The project emphasizes the importance of giving back, encouraging each of us to reflect on our many blessings and share with those less fortunate.
The biblical principle of giving is beautifully encapsulated in Deuteronomy 16:17, which states, “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that He has given you.” This verse serves as a guiding light for the Christmas Child Project, reminding us that our contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of others. Each gift is purchased and wrapped with a message of love, hope, and support, reinforcing the idea that we are all part of a larger community.
