An Introduction to Visual Perception Deficits – Part 1
Haden welcomes guests Rachel Beaver, occupational therapist and PDT purple team member, and Sarah Maust, occupational therapist and PDT blue team member, as they discuss part 1 of a two week series on “Visual Perceptual Deficits.” Visual perceptual deficits, also known as visual perception deficits, encompass a wide range of visual difficulties. This requires treating and evaluating therapists and therapy assistants to hone in on their knowledge of visual development and developmental milestones in order to effectively diagnose and treat children who fall under this umbrella term. Join Haden and her guests as they discuss a number of common visual perceptual diagnoses as well as evaluations tips for each.
