In this episode of The Working Therapist, Haden welcomes Holly Camplin, MS, CCC-SLP of Assistive Technology Works, Inc as they discuss “Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices.” Holly is a speech language pathologist who practiced in a school based environment for over 14 years specializing over time in AAC implementation in the classroom. She now works with Assistive Technology Works traveling throughout North and South Carolina to help clinicians, educators, and clients find solutions for their AAC needs. Throughout this episode, Haden and Holly discuss both low tech and high tech AAC devices and creative strategies for identifying and implementing the right device for children.
